Survey update

New scoping study reports
We have published the first report from a 2024 scoping study, together with more reports from 2023 scoping studies. You can now read more on the findings from:

Royal Society APEX awards
The APEX award scheme offers established independent researchers, with a strong track record in their respective area, an opportunity to pursue interdisciplinary and curiosity-driven research to benefit wider society. The awards are a partnership between the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineering and the Royal Society, with support from the Leverhulme Trust. Applicants can apply for up to £200,000.

Modeller, Cool Farm Alliance
Cool Farm Alliance is looking for a full-time modeller. The role will focus on developing livestock models of GHG flows across agricultural systems using the latest peer-reviewed evidence, open source and procured data. These models will support the Alliance’s work in building a scientifically credible and robust GHG calculator.
