Greater Lincolnshire Food Partnership
Awarded £2,000
AFN Network+ will fund a further two workshops to support the setting up of a working group of local agri-food stakeholders to devise a roadmap for the future of food in the region. The workshops will see that plans for net zero are integrated into – and not at odds with – landscape-wide strategic plans, which will also include economic, social and environmental concerns, and long-term adaptation planning.
Key findings
Through the process of listening, being heard, drawing on “expert input,” and discussion, the stakeholders co-developed a big picture of the interconnectedness and interdependencies of the plurality of concerns, and a locally developed vision for the future of the region, accommodating diverse viewpoints and values.
Recommendations for further activity and research
We recommend working together with this group of stakeholders to complete a strategy to meet their aspirations, and support them to take a robust approach to designing, innovating and experimenting for greater resilience and adaptability in a future of increasing uncertainty in the Fens.
