About me

I’m a first-year PhD student with a background in advertising and food journalism. Previously managing editor of The Caterer, I also wrote reviews for Time Out and travelled the world’s wine regions to report on latest trends and delicious finds. I then moved into advertising, heading up a team in a Soho agency with clients including Diageo, Unilever, Durex and Guinness. Now I’m looking to uncover solutions to meeting net zero in UK agriculture and the policy tweaks required. Hello everyone and hope we can meet up sometime soon!

Revaluing woodland and agroforestry as systems that can support all our physiological needs, whilst increasing biodiversity.

About me

I manage a 25-acre woodland on Exmoor that is developing products and processes that will re-value woodland and agroforestry as being integral land management practices to support a rural/circular/innovative economy. I'm also starting an agroforestry co-operative in West Somerset, North Devon, Mid Devon, East Devon and parts of Sedgemoor and South Somerset which will enable landworkers to obtain free access to land and affordable accommodation next to it and which will provide landowners with a decent rent, access to talent and with a succession service.
