The AFN Network+ was out in force at this year’s Groundswell. At our stand we held a series of activities including:

• A “pub quiz” organised by AFN Champion Amy Jackson, testing competitors’ knowledge of all things agri-food and net zero.
• “Grains of Diversity: Cultivating Togetherness” run by AFN Network+ co-lead Angelina Sanderson Bellamy and project manager Sophie Constant.
• “Carbon Clawprint: How UK arable farming can support more sustainable and ethical chicken production” run by Emma Roe and colleagues as part of their AFN scoping study.
• A series of sessions run by this year’s AFN Champions.

It was a fantastic chance to chat to people about the work of the AFN Network+ and our funding opportunities and it was great to see one of our co-leads, Professor Tim Benton, talk about our scenarios work in his Big Top session: An Uncertain World: How Will it Drive Food System (R)evolution?
