Network+ events

17/10/2022

We need your involvement, and we’d love to hear your thoughts. If you’ve an idea for an event that you’d like to help us organise or co-host, please contact the  relevant Champion.

Here are the events we currently have planned (specific times, dates and locations will be confirmed nearer the time).

Scenarios workshop 1 - Feb 2023: Scenario planning and mapping
We’ll co-construct and visualise scenarios for the UK agrifood system’s global context up to 2050, recognising that any research agenda needs to be robust to changing needs, rather than simply building on today’s policy and market drivers.

Scenarios Workshop 2 - March 2023: Plausible pathways
Alongside stakeholders, we’ll co-develop plausible pathways for scenarios, mapping out the route to net zero via an agrifood system that’s environmentally sustainable, economically viable, and socially just.

Big Tent Event - April 2023
A two-day in-person and highly interactive meeting. With speed meetings, flash-talks, and rotating seating meals. We’ll discuss, debate and refine plausible pathways and the route to Net Zero.

Crucible workshop - June 2023
We’ll run the Crucible two weeks before our scoping study call opens, to foster new collaborations. Submissions will not be restricted to crucible participants, but we will support participants, inviting them to present their proposal at the end of the Crucible.
