As Partnerships Manager at FareShare North East, I’m keen to connect with other members of the AFN+ network to strengthen collaboration and grow our collective impact. By building meaningful partnerships, we can ensure that no good food goes to waste while supporting communities experiencing food insecurity. By working together to tackle food waste, we not only maximise resources but also contribute to improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities across our region. I’m particularly interested in sharing best practice, exploring innovative approaches, and identifying opportunities to collaborate in ways that create lasting, sustainable change.
With a background in Food & Nutrition, I’ve built my career working on strengthening the food system across the North East. I’m particularly motivated by the challenge of addressing food insecurity in ways that go beyond short-term fixes, focusing instead on sustainable solutions that empower communities and make better use of the resources already available to us. I’m driven by a belief that collaboration, innovation, and strong partnerships are key to reducing inequalities and creating a food system that is fairer, more resilient, and fit for the future.
