About me
I’m a GW4 MRC DTP iCASE PhD student at the University of Exeter, working with industry partner Fueld AI. My project invites students in catered halls to try a one-month plant-based diet with light, personalised app feedback. I will examine whether this improves diet quality, cardiometabolic health, and psychological wellbeing, while reducing the environmental footprint of food choices. Alongside the intervention, I’m validating app-based dietary assessment and using brief experience sampling to study psychological mechanisms of change.
Before starting the PhD, I completed a BSc in Sport Psychology and an MSc in Health Psychology, including work on the psychology of physical activity and sedentary behaviour and a study on the mental wellbeing effects of long-term sports injury among non-elite athletes. My interests span behaviour change, digital health, and sustainable food systems.
