About me
I am a postgraduate researcher at UWE Bristol, investigating how public policy instruments are used to tackle environmental issues in food strategies, paying special attention to how the past influences our future. My research explores policy mixes, foresight methods, sustainability governance, and stakeholder engagement to address challenges in food systems.
I have extensive experience in qualitative research, working as a research assistant on projects related to the circular economy in food supply chains and the social aspects of sustainability. I have also developed quantitative research skills, contributing to studies on sustainable transport and public perception. My latest publication explores multistakeholder interventions to reduce carbon emissions in the food system at a local level using plant-based diets.
Before academia, I worked in the finance and banking sector, giving me a unique perspective on the economic and regulatory dimensions of sustainability transitions. I hold an MSc in Environmental Management (Distinction) and a BA in English Philology (Distinction).
