About me

I am a PhD scientist specialising in cultivated meat bioprocessing, an alternative protein research writer, an amateur mycologist and the co-founder of & chief scientific officer at Rooted Research Collective. My career combines research, industry knowledge and practical experience to advocate for ethical and sustainable food systems. My work has been internationally recognised, including appearances on BBC News and articles in the National Geographic, Green Queen and The Biochemist. When I’m not in the lab or writing, I'm frolicking around in the woodlands searching for fungi.
