My background
My field of interest and expertise
I am interested in working with other members on
Nitrogen use efficiency and understanding the factors which motivate nutrient application decisions on farms, measuring in-field emissions and supporting farmers in the net zero/sustainable agriculture transition.
About me
I am an agronomy and physiology researcher at NIAB focusing on potato growth and production and have expertise in running potato field trials both on our trial grounds in Cambridge and on-farm.
I often work closely with CUPGRA who are a group of potato growers, agronomists and industry members keen to "grow potatoes better by understanding how potatoes grow" and currently lead the long-term CUPGRA Reference Crop experiment which presently focuses on nitrogen uptake from conventional and novel N sources.
