One hundred days into Labour being in office, we will examine what the new government has done so far, and look for evidence about where things might be heading. Our two speakers spend their time trying to understand the workings of policy in food and farming and will help us delve into this topic.
AFN Network+ Events
We host events in person and online, bringing people with an interest in agri-food together to share insights, develop knowledge and create connections. These include:
- Webinars, workshops and networking meetings
- Our annual two day Big Tent event
- An annual facilitated Crucible workshop for people interested in applying for scoping study grants. Participants develop project ideas, meet collaborators, work on proposals and receive grant-writing coaching.
Our events offer participants the chance to engage with researchers and food system stakeholders working for change in the agri-food system. Our webinars are all recorded and can be found in the resources section of the website.
Join the Network to receive our monthly newsletter and find out about upcoming events.
Seeding Fair Food, Climate, and Community Resilience
In celebration of Black History Month, the AFN Network+ is hosting a virtual event exploring the intersection of food justice, climate resilience, and cultural sustainability. We will highlight the importance of seed saving and self-sufficiency, contrasting these practices with the current commercial models in the UK.
